الرئيس السيسي يتلقى اتصالاً هاتفياً من شارل ميشيل رئيس المجلس الأوروبي.

وذكر المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن الاتصال شهد التباحث حول التطورات المتلاحقة على الصعيد الفلسطيني الإسرائيلي، حيث أكد السيد شارل ميشيل حرص الجانب الأوروبي على تكثيف التشاور وتبادل الرؤى مع السيد الرئيس في هذا الخصوص، بهدف إنهاء حالة العنف والتوتر المتصاعد التي تنذر بعواقب خطيرة.

وقد أكد السيد الرئيس أهمية وقف التصعيد الجاري وممارسة ضبط النفس من جميع الأطراف، لما ينطوي عليه الأمر من مخاطر جسيمة على حياة المدنيين وأمن واستقرار المنطقة، مستعرضاً التحركات المصرية الجارية مع كافة الأطراف الإقليمية والدولية في هذا الصدد، بهدف توحيد الجهود واتساقها، وتجنيب المنطقة المزيد من عوامل الاضطراب وعدم الاستقرار، وصولاً لدفع جهود السلام العادل والشامل على أساس حل الدولتين وفقاً للقانون الدولي وقرارات الشرعية الدولية ذات الصلة.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from President of the European Council, Charles Michel.

Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, said the call focused on the successive developments at the Palestinian-Israeli level. The President of the European Council confirmed the European side’s commitment to intensifying consultations and exchange of visions with President El-Sisi in this regard in order to end the state of violence and escalating tension that warns of dangerous repercussions.

President El-Sisi emphasized the importance of ending the ongoing escalation and of exercising self-restraint by all parties, given the grave threats this poses to the lives of civilians and to the security and stability of the region. The President reviewed Egypt’s ongoing movements with all regional and international parties, with the aim of unifying and coordinating efforts, and sparing the region from further factors of turmoil and instability. This shall be conducive to advancing just and comprehensive peace efforts based on the two-state solution and in accordance with international law and the relevant resolutions of international legitimacy.
