تلقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اتصالاً هاتفياً من الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين، حيث ناقش الرئيسان الأوضاع الإقليمية ومستجدات التصعيد في قطاع غزة، وتم استعراض التحركات الدبلوماسية الجارية لاحتواء الموقف ومنع توسع رقعة العنف والصراع بما يهدد أمن واستقرار المنطقة. وقد توافق الزعيمان على أهمية تغليب مسار دعم التهدئة واستعادة الاستقرار الأمني، وأولوية الحرص على حماية المدنيين ومنع استهدافهم، وكذلك خطورة الأوضاع الإنسانية في قطاع غزة وضرورة توفير النفاذ الآمن للمساعدات الإنسانية والإغاثية بصورة عاجلة. كما اتفق الرئيسان على ضرورة العمل الجدي على معالجة أسباب الأزمة، لاسيما استمرار غياب الأفق السياسي لتسوية القضية الفلسطينية على نحو عادل ودائم، وإقامة الدولة الفلسطينية وفق مرجعيات الشرعية الدولية المتفق عليها.
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The two Presidents discussed developments in the regional situation and the latest in the escalation in the Gaza Strip.
President El-Sisi and President Putin reviewed diplomatic efforts underway to contain the situation and prevent the expansion of the violence and conflict, which jeopardizes security and stability in the region.
The two Presidents agreed on the importance of giving priority to the path of promoting calm and restoring security and stability. They reiterated the need to prioritize the protection of civilians and the prevention of targeting them, noting the gravity of the humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.
President El-Sisi and President Putin also underscored the urgency to provide safe access to the humanitarian relief and assistance. The were also aligned with regard to the importance of working, in earnest, toward addressing the causes of the crisis, particularly the continued absence of political prospects to settle the Palestinian cause in a just and lasting manner and to establish a Palestinian State in accordance with the terms of reference of international legitimacy that were agreed-upon.
