تفقد الفريق / أحمد خليفة رئيس أركان حرب القوات المسلحة إجراءات التأمين على الإتجاه الإستراتيجى الشمالى الشرقى ، حيث بدأت الجولة بالمرور على القوات المكلفة بتأمين معبر رفح البرى ، وأكد رئيس أركان حرب القوات المسلحة أن المهمة الرئيسية للقوات المسلحة هى الحفاظ على حدود الدولة على كافة الإتجاهات الإستراتيجية وأن رجال القوات المسلحة قادرون على الدفاع عن حدود الوطن جيلاً بعد جيل ، مؤكداً على أهمية التحلى بالعلم والإرادة والحفاظ على اللياقة البدنية العالية لضمان تنفيذ كافة المهام بإحترافية عالية ، كما إطمأن على الحالة المعيشية والإدارية للفرد المقاتل .
حيث حضر الجولة التفقدية قائد قوات حرس الحدود ونائب رئيس هيئة عمليات القوات المسلحة وقائد قوات شرق القناة لمكافحة الإرهاب والقائم بأعمال رئيس هيئة الإستخبارات العسكرية وقائد الجيش الثانى الميدانى وقادة القوات الخاصة وعدد من قادة القوات المسلحة .

Lieutenant General/ Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, inspected the security measures on the north eastern strategic direction. The inspection began with a visit to the forces responsible for securing the Rafah crossing. The Chief of Staff emphasized that the primary mission of the Armed Forces is to protect the country’s borders in all strategic directions and affirmed that the Armed Forces personnel are capable of defending the nation’s borders generation after generation. He stressed the importance of acquiring knowledge, maintaining strong willpower, and keeping high physical fitness to ensure the professional execution of all tasks. Additionally, he reviewed the living and administrative conditions of the forces.
Present during the inspection were the Commander of Border Guard Forces, the Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces Operations Authority, the Commander of East of the Canal Forces for Combating Terrorism, the Acting Director of the Military Intelligence Authority, the Commander of the Second Field Army, special forces commanders, and several other senior Armed Forces commanders.
