فى إطار حرص القوات المسلحة على تعزيز أوجه التعاون العسكرى مع الدول الصديقة والشقيقة ، إلتقى الفريق / أشرف عطوة قائد القوت البحرية الفريق بحرى / ديمتريوس كاتاراس رئيس هيئة الأركان العامة للقوات البحرية اليونانية والوفد المرافق له خلال زيارته الرسمية لقيادة القوات البحرية بالأسكندرية .
تناول اللقاء مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات ذات الإهتمام المشترك وبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون البحرى بين البلدين خلال المرحلة المقبلة .
وأكد الجانبان على أهمية دعم علاقات الشراكة الإستراتيجية بين القوات البحرية المصرية واليونانية فى إطار دعم العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الصديقين فى مختلف المجالات .
وفى سياق متصل قام الوفد بجولة تفقدية لعدد من وحدات القوات البحرية للتعرف على أحدث منظومات التدريب والتسليح التى شهدتها القوات البحرية فى الأونة الأخيرة ، والمرور على شركة ترسانة الأسكندرية للتعرف على الإمكانيات والخبرات المصرية الرائدة فى مجال إنتاج الوحدات البحرية المختلفة .

Commander of the Egyptian Navy Meets Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff

As part of the Armed Forces’ keenness to strengthen military cooperation with friendly and brotherly nations, Vice Admiral Ashraf Atwa, Commander of the Naval Forces, met with Vice Admiral Dimitrios Kataras, Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, and his accompanying delegation during their official visit to the Naval Forces Command in Alexandria.
The meeting included discussions on a number of topics of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance naval cooperation between the two countries in the coming period.
Both sides emphasized the importance of supporting the strategic partnership between the Egyptian and Hellenic naval forces, within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries across various fields.
In a related context, the delegation conducted an inspection tour of several naval units to learn about the latest training and armament systems recently introduced by the Egyptian Navy. They also visited Alexandria Shipyard Company to learn about Egypt’s leading capabilities and expertise in the production of various naval units.

Le Commandant de la Marine Égyptienne rencontre le Chef d’État-major de la Marine Grecque

Dans le cadre de l’engagement des Forces Armées égyptiennes à renforcer la coopération militaire avec les pays amis et frères, l’Amiral Ashraf Atwa, Commandant de la Marine, a rencontré le Vice-Amiral Dimitrios Kataras, Chef d’État-major de la Marine Grecque, ainsi que la délégation qui l’accompagne lors de leur visite officielle au Commandement de la Marine à Alexandrie.
La rencontre a porté sur plusieurs sujets d’intérêt commun et a permis de discuter des moyens de renforcer la coopération navale entre les deux pays dans les prochaines étapes.
Les deux parties ont souligné l’importance de soutenir les relations de partenariat stratégique entre les marines égyptienne et grecque, dans le cadre du soutien aux relations bilatérales entre les deux pays amis dans divers domaines.
Dans ce même contexte, la délégation a effectué une visite d’inspection de plusieurs unités de la Marine pour découvrir les dernières avancées en matière de systèmes d’entraînement et d’armement dont bénéficie la Marine égyptienne récemment, ainsi qu’une visite de l’arsenal d’Alexandrie pour se familiariser avec les capacités et l’expertise égyptiennes de pointe dans la production de différents types d’unités navales.
