اجتمع السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، اليوم، مع اللواء أمير سيد أحمد، مستشار رئيس الجمهورية للتخطيط العمراني، والعقيد الدكتور بهاء الغنام، المدير التنفيذي لجهاز مستقبل مصر للتنمية المستدامة.
وذكر المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن السيد الرئيس تابع خلال الاجتماع مستجدات العمل في مشروعات جهاز مستقبل مصر للتنمية المستدامة التي تهدف إلى توفير منتجات زراعية ذات جـودة عاليـة بأسعار مناسبة للمواطنين وتحقيق الاكتفاء الذاتي من السلع الاستراتيجية، بالإضافة إلى موقف المخزون الاستراتيجي من السلع الأساسية المختلفة، والتأكد من وجود أرصدة كافية منها بما يسهم في تأمين احتياجات المواطنين بشكل دائم.
وأشار السفير محمد الشناوي المتحدث الرسمي إلى أن السيد الرئيس اطلع في هذا الصدد على جهود تعزيز السلع الاستراتيجية ومدى إتاحتها، بالتوازي مع المشروعات التي تم تدشينها بهدف المساهمة في زيادة القدرات التخزينية للسلع والمحاصيل الزراعية الأساسية وتوفير احتياجات الدولة منها، وكذلك المشروعات التي تستهدف زيادة المخزون الاستراتيجي مثل مشروع صوامع تخزين الغلال بهدف تعزيز القدرة على التخزين طوال العام.
وقد وجه السيد الرئيس بتوفير آليات دعم تلك المشروعات، مع ضرورة توافر الأرصدة الاستراتيجية من السلع الأساسية لمدد كافية، والعمل على زيادة حجم ذلك المخزون بالتنسيق مع جهات الدولة المعنية. كما وجه السيد الرئيس بالعمل المستمر في إطار خطة الدولة للتوسع في رقعة الأراضي الزراعية، وزيادة الانتاج الزراعي، والذي يعد عصباً أساسياً للاقتصاد المصري، وتحقيق طفرة تضمن قدرة الدولة على حماية الأمن الغذائي للشعب المصري.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Advisor to the President for Urban Planning , Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, and Executive Director of the “Egypt’s Future” Authority for Sustainable Development, Colonel Dr. Bahaa El-Ghannam.
Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said President El-Sisi followed up on work progress in Egypt’s Future for Sustainable Development Projects. These projects aim to provide high-quality agricultural products at affordable prices for citizens and achieve self-sufficiency in strategic goods. The President was updated on the status of the strategic stock of essential commodities, ensuring adequate reserves to consistently secure citizens’ needs.
President El-Sisi was also briefed on efforts to enhance the availability of strategic goods. This is in parallel with projects launched to increase the storage capacities for essential goods and agricultural crops and to meet the state’s needs. The meeting also discussed other projects aimed at increasing strategic reserves, such as the grain storage silos project, to enhance year-round storage capacity.
President El-Sisi gave directives to provide mechanisms to support these projects, and emphasized the necessity of maintaining sufficient strategic reserves of essential goods, and of working toward increasing the volume of these reserves in coordination with the relevant state entities.
The President also stressed the need to continue efforts as part of the state’s plan to expand agricultural land, and increase agricultural production, which is a key pillar of the Egyptian economy. This aims to achieve a breakthrough that will ensure the state’s ability to safeguard the food security of the Egyptian people.
