نظرًا لتسارع الأحداث الإقليمية والدولية، وتزامن المؤتمر الصحفي للدورة السادسة والأربعين من مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي، الذي عُقد في 12 أكتوبر، مع قمة شرم الشيخ للسلام التي قادها الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي بمشاركة عدد كبير من قادة العالم، رأت إدارة المهرجان أن البوستر السابق لم يعد ملائمًا لروح المرحلة.
وانطلاقًا من دور المهرجان الثقافي والإنساني كمنصة تعبّر عن السينما كضمير للعالم، قررت الإدارة إصدار بوستر رسمي جديد يعكس قيم السلام والنور والأمل في مواجهة الحرب والدمار.
تحليل البوستر
في عمق الصورة، منفذٌ ضوئيٌّ ساطع يفتح الطريق أمام حمامة بيضاء تحلّق نحو الأفق، في دلالة مباشرة على السلام والأمل والتحرر، ودور السينما كطريق للحرية والارتقاء الإنساني.
تغمر المشهدَ درجات الذهب والبرونز، في تدرجات ضوئية تتسلل من عمق الصورة نحو الأفق، وكأنها شروق جديد ينبثق من بين الظلال. بينما تنمو أغصان الزيتون على أطراف الكادر لتستعيد دورة الحياة، ويُطوّق المشهد شريطان سينمائيان يحوّلان القصة إلى ذاكرة قابلة للمشاركة على الشاشة، تحية للفن الذي ينهض من بين الركام، وصوتًا للإنسان الذي لا يموت في ذاكرة السينما، فتتآلف العناصر في معنى واحد يوجّه العين من الأنقاض إلى الفضاء المفتوح ومن الألم إلى الرجاء.
*Cairo International Film Festival announces the new poster for its 46th edition*
In light of the rapid regional and international developments, and the coincidence of the festival’s press conference—held on October 12—with the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and attended by numerous world leaders, the festival’s management found that the previous poster no longer reflected the spirit of the moment.
Stemming from the festival’s cultural and humanistic role as a platform that embodies cinema as the conscience of the world, the management decided to release a new official poster that conveys the values of peace, light, and hope in the face of war and destruction.
Poster Analysis
At the heart of the image, a radiant passage of light opens the way for a white dove soaring toward the horizon—a clear symbol of peace, hope, and liberation, and of cinema’s role as a path to freedom and human elevation.
The scene is bathed in shades of gold and bronze, with luminous gradients streaming from the depth of the image toward the horizon, as if heralding a new sunrise emerging from the shadows. Olive branches grow along the edges of the frame, restoring the cycle of life, while two cinematic ribbons encircle the composition—transforming the story into a shared memory on screen. It is a tribute to the art that rises from the ruins, a voice for the human spirit that never dies in cinema’s memory, where all elements converge into a single vision guiding the eye from rubble to open sky, from pain to hope.
