إستقبل الفريق أول عبد المجيد صقر القائد العام للقوات المسلحة وزير الدفاع والإنتاج الحربى اللواء / محمود توفيق وزير الداخلية على رأس وفد من قيادات وزارة الداخلية لتقديم التهنئة للقوات المسلحة بمناسبة الإحتفال بالذكرى الثانية والخمسين لإنتصارات أكتوبر المجيدة ، وذلك بحضور الفريق / أحمد خليفة رئيس أركان حرب القوات المسلحة وعدد من قادة القوات المسلحة .
وأكد اللواء / محمود توفيق وزير الداخلية أن نصر أكتوبر العظيم سيظل دوماً ملحمة فريدة فى تاريخ العسكرية المصرية شاهداً على بطولات وتضحيات رجال القوات المسلحة الذين برهنوا حقيقة كونهم خير أجناد الأرض ، موجهاً التهنئة لرجال القوات المسلحة بمناسبة تلك الذكرى الوطنية المجيدة .
من جانبه أِشار الفريق أول / عبد المجيد صقر القائد العام للقوات المسلحة وزير الدفاع والإنتاج الحربى إلى أن القوات المسلحة والشرطة هم جناحا الأمن والإستقرار للوطن وسيظلان معاً يدافعان عن مقدراته مهما كلفهم ذلك من تضحيات ، مشيداً بالجهود التى يبذلها رجال الشرطة لحفظ الأمن الداخلى للدولة المصرية .
وفى نهاية اللقاء قام اللواء / محمود توفيق وزير الداخلية بإهداء الفريق أول / عبد المجيد صقر القائد العام للقوات المسلحة وزير الدفاع والإنتاج الحربى والفريق / أحمد خليفة رئيس أركان حرب القوات المسلحة درع هيئة الشرطة ، كما قدم الفريق أول / عبد المجيد صقر درع القوات المسلحة لوزير الداخلية .
General Abdel Mageed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, Meets Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfiq
In celebration of the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October Victory, General Abdel Mageed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, received Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of Interior, who led a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Interior to extend congratulations to the Armed Forces on this cherished national occasion. The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, along with a number of senior commanders.
During the meeting, Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq affirmed that the great October Victory will forever stand as a unique and enduring chapter in the history of Egyptian military glory—an immortal testament to the heroism, valor, and sacrifices of the Armed Forces, who have always proven themselves to be the best soldiers on earth. He conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to the men of the Armed Forces, expressing deep appreciation for their unwavering dedication to the defense of the nation.
For his part, General Abdel Mageed Saqr emphasized that the Armed Forces and the Police represent the two inseparable pillars of Egypt’s security and stability, united in purpose and destiny to safeguard the homeland and preserve its capabilities, no matter the sacrifices required. He commended the Ministry of Interior and its personnel for their tireless efforts in upholding internal security and reinforcing the pillars of national stability.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq presented the Shield of the Police Authority to General Abdel Mageed Saqr and Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa as a symbol of appreciation and brotherhood between the two institutions. In return, General Abdel Mageed Saqr presented the Shield of the Armed Forces to the Minister of Interior, reaffirming the deep bonds of cooperation and mutual respect that unite the Armed Forces and the Police in service of Egypt and its proud people.
