في إطار فعاليات أيام القاهرة لصناعة السينما التي تُقام ضمن الدورة الـ46 من مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي، يستضيف المسرح المكشوف بدار الأوبرا المصرية اليوم الأحد 16 نوفمبر جلسة نقاشية بعنوان “سينما المراهقين: قوة السرد وعلاقته بالصحة النفسية”، وذلك من الساعة 2:00 حتى 3:30 مساءً.
تدير الجلسة سالي ذهني، بمشاركة نخبة من المتحدثين هم: سيهار صلاح، عمرو سلامة، بسمة نبيل، وحمزة دياب.
تجمع هذه الجلسة عددًا من صنّاع الأفلام والممثلين وخبراء الصحة النفسية، إلى جانب حضور مراهقين يشاركون بوجهات نظرهم وتجاربهم، في محاولة لاستكشاف كيفية قدرة السينما والتلفزيون على تسليط الضوء على العوالم العاطفية المعقّدة لهذه المرحلة العمرية الحساسة.
ويناقش المتحدثون قضايا الهوية والضغوط الاجتماعية والانتماء ورحلة اكتشاف الذات، وكيف يمكن للسرد الصادق والمسؤول أن يسهم في رفع الوعي بالصحة النفسية وتحدّي الصور النمطية المرتبطة بالمراهقين. كما يتناول النقاش مدى واقعية ما تقدمه الدراما مقارنة بتجارب الشباب، والصورة التي تُرسم للمراهق العربي على الشاشة، وأسباب عالمية قصص هذه الفئة عبر الثقافات المختلفة.
وتوفر الجلسة مساحة تفاعلية تمنح الحضور الشباب فرصة التعبير عن رؤيتهم، بينما يستعرض المتحدثون دور الفن السابع في تعزيز التعاطف والفهم بين الأجيال، ومنح المراهقين صوتًا قادرًا على التأثير في المجتمع وصناعة صورة أكثر إنصافًا ووعيًا لهم.

أُطلقت “أيام القاهرة لصناعة السينما” كمنصّة مخصصة لدعم وتطوير الصناعة السينمائية في العالم العربي وأفريقيا، من خلال توفير فرص التمويل والتدريب والتشبيك بين صُنّاع الأفلام والخبراء الدوليين. تضم الأيام عدة برامج ومحاور رئيسية أبرزها: ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي، منتدى المحترفين، وورش العمل المتخصصة. وقد أصبحت اليوم إحدى أهم الفعاليات المهنية في المنطقة، لما تقدمه من فرص حقيقية لتطوير المشاريع والمواهب الناشئة.

يُعد مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي أحد أعرق المهرجانات في العالم العربي وأفريقيا، وأحد أبرز المهرجانات الدولية المعتمدة من الاتحاد الدولي للمنتجين (FIAPF). تأسس عام 1976، ويقام سنويًا تحت رعاية وزارة الثقافة. يحرص المهرجان في كل دورة على الجمع بين البعد الفني والبعد المهني، ما يجعله منصة رئيسية للحوار بين الثقافات وتعزيز حضور السينما العربية على الساحة الدولية.

Today: “Teen Cinema: The Power of Storytelling and Its Relation to Mental Health” at Cairo Industry Days
As part of the Cairo Industry Days activities held within the 46th Cairo International Film Festival, the Open-Air Theatre at the Cairo Opera House hosts today, Sunday, November 16, a discussion session titled “Teen Cinema: The Power of Storytelling and Its Relation to Mental Health,” from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
The session is moderated by Sally Zahni, featuring a distinguished panel including Sehar Salah, Amr Salama, Basma Nabil, and Hamza Diab.
This session brings together filmmakers, actors, mental health experts, alongside the attendance of teenagers who share their perspectives and experiences. The aim is to explore how cinema and television can shed light on the complex emotional worlds of this sensitive age group.
The speakers discuss identity issues, social pressures, belonging, and the journey of self-discovery, and how honest and responsible storytelling can contribute to raising awareness about mental health and challenging stereotypes associated with adolescents. The discussion also covers the realism presented by drama compared to the experiences of youth, the portrayal of Arab adolescents on screen, and universal reasons for these narratives across different cultures.
The session provides an interactive space allowing young attendees to express their views, while speakers highlight the role of the seventh art in fostering empathy and understanding between generations, and giving adolescents a voice capable of influencing society and creating a more just and aware image of them.
