في إطار فعاليات أيام القاهرة لصناعة السينما المقامة ضمن الدورة الـ46 من مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي، يستضيف فندق سوفتيل – قاعة أوبليسك 2 اليوم الأحد 16 نوفمبر جلسة نقاشية بعنوان “مرحلة ما بعد الإنتاج مع مراد مصطفى وشريف فتحي – بدعم من استوديوهات شيفت”، وذلك في تمام الساعة 3:00 حتى 4:30 مساءً، وبحضور مخصص لحاملي البطاقات.
تجمع الجلسة بين المخرج المصري مراد مصطفى، الذي حققت أفلامه القصيرة حضورًا دوليًا لافتًا في مهرجانات كبرى مثل كان ولوكارنو وكليرمون-فيران، وبين المونتير والمختص في ما بعد الإنتاج شريف فتحي، مؤسس شركة “شيفت ستوديوز”، إحدى أهم شركات ما بعد الإنتاج في مصر والمنطقة.
ويستعرض المتحدثان مسار تعاونهما الممتد منذ بدايات مراد مصطفى ككاتب سيناريو، مرورًا بأفلامه القصيرة التي صنعت حضورًا عالميًا، وصولًا إلى فيلمه الروائي الطويل الأول “عائشة لا تستطيع الطيران”. وتسلّط الجلسة الضوء على الدور الخفي والمفصلي لمرحلة ما بعد الإنتاج في صياغة النسيج البصري والعاطفي للعمل السينمائي، وكيف يتقاطع الإيقاع بالعاطفة لبناء قصة متكاملة.
ويدير شريف فتحي الحوار لكشف التفاصيل الإبداعية والتقنية لعمليات المونتاج وتصحيح الألوان، وكيف يمكن لهذه المراحل أن تعيد تشكيل رؤية المخرج وتوازن بين الهوية الفنية والدقة التقنية، إضافة إلى مناقشة التحديات التي تواجه صناعة ما بعد الإنتاج في مصر والمنطقة، في ظل التطور المستمر لهذا القطاع الحيوي.
تأتي هذه الجلسة كفرصة فريدة لصنّاع الأفلام والمهتمين بالمجال للتعمق في أحد أهم المراحل التي تُسهم في اكتمال العمل السينمائي وظهوره بصورته النهائية.

أُطلقت “أيام القاهرة لصناعة السينما” كمنصّة مخصصة لدعم وتطوير الصناعة السينمائية في العالم العربي وأفريقيا، من خلال توفير فرص التمويل والتدريب والتشبيك بين صُنّاع الأفلام والخبراء الدوليين. تضم الأيام عدة برامج ومحاور رئيسية أبرزها: ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي، منتدى المحترفين، وورش العمل المتخصصة. وقد أصبحت اليوم إحدى أهم الفعاليات المهنية في المنطقة، لما تقدمه من فرص حقيقية لتطوير المشاريع والمواهب الناشئة.

Discussion Session on Post-Production Featuring Murad Mustafa and Sherif Fathi at Cairo Industry Days
As part of Cairo Industry Days activities held during the 46th Cairo International Film Festival, Sofitel Hotel – Obelisk Hall 2 hosts today, Sunday, November 16, a discussion session titled “Post-Production with Murad Mustafa and Sherif Fathi – Supported by Shift Studios,” from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with attendance restricted to cardholders.
The session brings together Egyptian director Murad Mustafa, whose short films have achieved notable international presence at major festivals such as Cannes, Locarno, and Clermont-Ferrand, and editor and post-production specialist Sherif Fathi, founder of Shift Studios, one of the leading post-production companies in Egypt and the region.
The speakers review their collaboration journey since Murad Mustafa’s early career as a screenwriter, through his globally recognized short films, up to his debut feature film Aisha Can’t Fly. The session highlights the pivotal, yet behind-the-scenes role of post-production in shaping the visual and emotional fabric of a film, exploring how rhythm and emotion intersect to create a cohesive story.
Sherif Fathi moderates the discussion revealing creative and technical details of editing and color grading processes, and how these stages can reshape the director’s vision, balancing artistic identity with technical precision. They also address challenges faced by the post-production industry in Egypt and the region amid ongoing development in this vital sector.
This session offers a unique opportunity for filmmakers and industry enthusiasts to delve deeply into one of the most critical phases contributing to the completion of a film’s cinematic expression.
