في إطار فعاليات أيام القاهرة لصناعة السينما المقامة ضمن أنشطة الدورة الـ46 لمهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي، يستضيف المسرح المكشوف بدار الأوبرا المصرية اليوم الأربعاء 19 نوفمبر، جلسة حوارية بعنوان “حوار مع هيام عباس: رحلة بلا حدود في عالم التمثيل والإخراج”، وذلك من الساعة 4:30 حتى 6:00 مساء، وتدير الجلسة المخرجة والصحفية ناهد نصر.
تأتي هذه الجلسة احتفاءً بالفنانة الفلسطينية الكبيرة هيام عباس، المكرَّمة هذا العام بجائزة الهرم الذهبي التقديرية لإنجاز العُمر، تقديرًا لمسيرتها الاستثنائية بين السينما العربية والعالمية. وتعدّ عباس واحدة من أبرز الوجوه العربية في المشهد السينمائي الدولي، إذ اشتهرت بأدائها العميق والصادق في أعمال بارزة من بينها “العروس السورية”، “غزة مون آمور”، و”الزائر”، حيث تنجح دائمًا في مزج الحساسية الإنسانية بالقوة الدرامية.
وتتطرق الجلسة إلى محطات مهمّة من مسيرتها الممتدة، فتشارك عباس الجمهور قصصًا من تجربتها الطويلة أمام وخلف الكاميرا، وتأملاتها في فن التمثيل، ورؤيتها لكيفية انتقالها بسلاسة بين السينما العربية والإنتاجات العالمية. وإلى جانب حضورها القوي كممثلة، خاضت هيام عباس أيضًا تجربة الإخراج وقدّمت أفلامًا لافتة من بينها “الميراث”، كما شاركت في أعمال دولية بارزة، أبرزها مسلسل Succession الحائز على عدة جوائز عالمية، ما رسّخ مكانتها كصوت عربي مؤثر في صناعة السينما العالمية.
وقد كرّست عباس جانبًا كبيرًا من فنّها لرواية القصص الفلسطينية وإيصالها إلى العالم، لتغدو سفيرة فنية حقيقية لوطنها، تبني من خلال أدوارها وجسارتها الإبداعية جسورًا بين الثقافات والقلوب.
وتأتي هذه الجلسة ضمن برنامج الفعاليات الخاصة بالمهرجان، الذي يهدف إلى فتح حوار مباشر بين الجمهور وصنّاع السينما، وإتاحة الفرصة للتعرّف على التجارب المؤثرة التي تشكّل حاضر السينما ومستقبلها.

أُطلقت “أيام القاهرة لصناعة السينما” كمنصّة مخصصة لدعم وتطوير الصناعة السينمائية في العالم العربي وأفريقيا، من خلال توفير فرص التمويل والتدريب والتشبيك بين صُنّاع الأفلام والخبراء الدوليين. تضم الأيام عدة برامج ومحاور رئيسية أبرزها: ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي، منتدى المحترفين، وورش العمل المتخصصة. وقد أصبحت اليوم إحدى أهم الفعاليات المهنية في المنطقة، لما تقدمه من فرص حقيقية لتطوير المشاريع والمواهب الناشئة.

يُعد مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي أحد أعرق المهرجانات في العالم العربي وأفريقيا، وأحد أبرز المهرجانات الدولية المعتمدة من الاتحاد الدولي للمنتجين (FIAPF). تأسس عام 1976، ويقام سنويًا تحت رعاية وزارة الثقافة. يحرص المهرجان في كل دورة على الجمع بين البعد الفني والبعد المهني، ما يجعله منصة رئيسية للحوار بين الثقافات وتعزيز حضور السينما العربية على الساحة الدولية.

Today: Exclusive Dialogue with Hiam Abbas at the Open-Air Theatre as Part of Cairo Industry Days
As part of Cairo Industry Days within the activities of the 46th Cairo International Film Festival, the Open-Air Theatre at the Cairo Opera House hosts today, Wednesday, November 19, a session titled “Dialogue with Hiam Abbas: A Boundless Journey in Acting and Directing” from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The session is moderated by director and journalist Nahed Nasr.
This session honors the great Palestinian artist Hiam Abbas, who is being awarded the Golden Pyramid Honorary Award for Lifetime Achievement this year in recognition of her exceptional career in both Arab and international cinema. Abbas is one of the most prominent Arab figures on the international film scene, renowned for her deep and authentic performances in notable works such as The Syrian Bride, Gaza Mon Amour, and The Visitor, where she masterfully blends human sensitivity with dramatic strength.
The session explores key milestones in her extended career, with Abbas sharing stories from her long experience both in front of and behind the camera, her reflections on the art of acting, and her vision for navigating smoothly between Arab cinema and global productions. Besides her powerful presence as an actress, Hiam Abbas has also ventured into directing, presenting notable films including Inheritance. She has participated in prominent international projects, most notably the award-winning series Succession, solidifying her status as an influential Arab voice in global cinema.
Abbas has devoted a significant part of her artistry to telling Palestinian stories and conveying them to the world, becoming a true artistic ambassador for her homeland. Through her roles and creative courage, she builds bridges between cultures and hearts.
This session is part of the festival’s special events program aimed at fostering direct dialogue between audiences and filmmakers, providing opportunities to learn about impactful experiences shaping the present and future of cinema.
