يقدّم مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي في دورته الـ46، غدا الخميس 20 نوفمبر، عرضًا خاصًا لفيلم “المواطن” للمخرج سام قاضي، بحضور النجم خالد النبوي، وذلك في تمام الساعة 6:00 مساءً في سينما الهناجر بدار الأوبرا المصرية، ضمن برنامج كلاسيكيات القاهرة. ويأتي هذا العرض احتفاءً بتكريم خالد النبوي ومنحه جائزة فاتن حمامة للتميز تقديرًا لمسيرته الفنية وإسهاماته البارزة في السينما المصرية والعربية.
“المواطن” فيلم روائي أمريكي صدر عام 2012، تبلغ مدته 99 دقيقة، وتدور أحداثه حول مهاجر عربي يفوز بقرعة البطاقة الخضراء الأمريكية (الجرين كارد)، ليصل إلى مدينة نيويورك في 10 سبتمبر 2001، أي قبل يوم واحد فقط من هجمات 11 سبتمبر. ومع تغيّر العالم من حوله بين ليلة وضحاها، يجد نفسه في مواجهة سلسلة من الأحداث التي تختبر أحلامه وهويته وقدرته على الصمود، في قصة تجمع بين الواقعية والتشويق والبعد الإنساني العميق.

*Tomorrow Thursday: Screening of the Film “The Citizen” as Part of Cairo Classics Program in Celebration of Khaled El Nabawy’s Honor*
As part of its 46th edition, the Cairo International Film Festival will present tomorrow, Thursday, November 20, a special screening of the film The Citizen directed by Sam Kadi, in the presence of star Khaled El Nabawy. The screening will take place at 6:00 PM at the Hanager Cinema, Cairo Opera House, within the Cairo Classics program. This screening honors Khaled El Nabawy, who will be awarded the Faten Hamama Excellence Award in recognition of his distinguished artistic career and significant contributions to Egyptian and Arab cinema.
The Citizen is an American narrative film released in 2012 with a runtime of 99 minutes. It tells the story of an Arab immigrant who wins the U.S. green card lottery and arrives in New York City on September 10, 2001—just one day before the September 11 attacks. As the world around him changes overnight, he faces a series of events that test his dreams, identity, and resilience, in a story that blends realism, suspense, and deep human dimensions.
