يُعرض اليوم الأحد 16 نوفمبر برنامج الأفلام القصيرة (2) ضمن فعاليات الدورة الـ46 لمهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي، وذلك في تمام الساعة 3:00 مساء على المسرح الكبير بدار الأوبرا المصرية، حيث تعرض أربعة أفلام قصيرة متنوعة تعكس ثراء التجارب السينمائية العالمية والعربية.
ويشتمل برنامج الأفلام القصيرة (2) على الأعمال التالية:
“ورود دريا الليلية” إخراج مريم تفكري (إيران، فرنسا، المملكة المتحدة | الفارسية | تجريبي | 2025 | 16 دقيقة)، الذي يروي قصة دريا التي تكتب مسودتها الأولى عن الوقوع في الحب مع فتاة غامضة تُدعى “آبي” أي “أزرق”، بينما تخفي ورود الليل في حديقتها أسرار بلد حوّل قصص الحب إلى مشاهد جريمة روتينية.
“خطب ما” إخراج باولا تيرمين (فرنسا | الفرنسية | روائي | 2025 | 30 دقيقة)، حيث تصر بلانش على منع والدتها من بيع البيانو الذي كان يخص شقيقتها المريضة، محاولة الحفاظ على ذكراها حيّة رغم تجاهل والدتها للأمر.
“واسابكايلي” إخراج بيبي جينسبرج (فرنسا، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية | الإنجليزية | روائي | 2025 | 19 دقيقة)، يتابع الفيلم شابة تبلغ من العمر 17 عامًا، تشارك في فيديوهات مقالب على “تيك توك”، وتكافح من أجل التأقلم ودفع الإيجار، لتكتشف إلى أي مدى ستذهب من أجل الانتماء.
“قمع” إخراج مارك أيمن (مصر | العربية | روائي | 2025 | 20 دقيقة)، الذي يصوّر كيف تصبح مبادئ أستاذ جامعي موضع تساؤل بعد منافسته مع عامل جراج في الحي على السلطة والنفوذ، لتتحول حياته إلى حالة من الجنون.
*عن مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي*
يُعد مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي أحد أعرق المهرجانات في العالم العربي وأفريقيا، وأحد أبرز المهرجانات الدولية المعتمدة من الاتحاد الدولي للمنتجين (FIAPF). تأسس عام 1976، ويقام سنويًا تحت رعاية وزارة الثقافة. يحرص المهرجان في كل دورة على الجمع بين البعد الفني والبعد المهني، ما يجعله منصة رئيسية للحوار بين الثقافات وتعزيز حضور السينما العربية على الساحة الدولية.

Today: Screening of Four Short Films at the 46th Cairo International Film Festival
Today, Sunday, November 16, the Short Film Competition (2) program takes place as part of the 46th edition of the Cairo International Film Festival, starting at 3:00 PM on the Grand Theatre stage at the Cairo Opera House. The program includes four diverse short films reflecting the richness of global and Arab cinematic experiences.
The Short Film Competition (2) program features the following films:
The Night Sea Roses directed by Maryam Tafakri (Iran, France, UK | Persian | Experimental | 2025 | 16 minutes). The film tells the story of Darya, who writes her first draft about falling in love with a mysterious girl named “Abi,” meaning “blue,” while the night sea roses in her garden conceal the secrets of a country where love stories have become routine crime scenes.
Some Speeches directed by Paula Termin (France | French | Fiction | 2025 | 30 minutes). Blanche insists on preventing her mother from selling the piano that belonged to her sick sister, trying to keep her memory alive despite the mother’s indifference.
Wasabikaili directed by Peppy Ginsburg (France, USA | English | Fiction | 2025 | 19 minutes). The film follows a 17-year-old girl participating in TikTok prank videos, struggling to adapt and pay rent, discovering how far she will go to belong.
Suppression directed by Mark Eyman (Egypt | Arabic | Fiction | 2025 | 20 minutes). The film portrays how the principles of a university professor are questioned after a rivalry with a local garage worker over power and influence turns his life into madness.
