يُعلن مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي عن فتح باب التقديم للمشاركة في النسخة الثانية عشرة من ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي، وذلك في إطار فعاليات دورته السابعة والأربعين المُقررة خلال الفترة من 11 إلى 20 نوفمبر 2026.
يبدأ استقبال الطلبات اعتبارًا من اليوم 10 مايو 2026، ويستمر حتى 3 أغسطس 2026، عبر الموقع الرسمي للمهرجان: www.ciff.org.eg
يمثّل ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي منصةً احترافيةً متخصصة في دعم مشاريع الأفلام الروائية وغير الروائية الطويلة القادمة من العالم العربي، وذلك في مرحلتَي التطوير وما بعد الإنتاج. ويسعى الملتقى إلى تمكين صُنّاع السينما العرب عبر تقديم منح مالية وخدمات إنتاجية متكاملة، إلى جانب فرص تواصل حقيقية مع كبار الممولين والمنتجين والموزعين على المستوى الدولي.
ويُتيح الملتقى لصُنّاع الأفلام العرب بيئةً سينمائيةً تعاونية تنبثق من أعرق صناعة سينمائية في العالم العربي وأكثرها حيويةً، وتفتح أمامهم مسارات احترافية للتفاعل مع أبرز مؤسسات السينما وممثليها حول العالم.
وفي نسخته الثانية عشرة، يرتكز الملتقى على مسارَين محوريَّين: بناء قدرات صُنّاع الأفلام والمشاريع السينمائية، وتشييد جسور التواصل مع الأسواق العالمية عبر شراكات استراتيجية مستدامة.
وفي تصريح خاص بهذه المناسبة قال الفنان الكبير حسين فهمي، رئيس مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي:
“ملتقى القاهرة السينمائي رسالة نؤمن بها ونجدد التزامنا بها كل عام، قبل أن يكون برنامجًا لدعم المشاريع، لتكون القاهرة وجهةً أساسيةً لكل صانع سينما عربي يحمل حلمًا يستحق الرؤية. نقدم هنا فرص التمويل لتصبح بوابةً نحو العالمية، انطلاقًا من هويتنا وموروثنا السينمائي العربي. وأدعو المواهب العربية للإيمان بمشاريعها والتقدم بها إلينا لنبني معًا مستقبل السينما العربية.”
وكانت مشاريع عديدة تلقّت دعم الملتقى قد أسهمت في تحقيق حضور لافت على الساحة السينمائية الدولية، ومن أبرزها:
“بنات ألفة” — كوثر بن هنية (تونس)
“إن شاء الله ولد” — أمجد الرشيد (الأردن)
“وداعًا جوليا” — محمد كردفاني (السودان)
“الحياة بعد سهام” — نمير عبد المسيح (مصر)
وفي هذا السياق، أكد محمد سيد عبد الرحيم، مدير أيام القاهرة لصناعة السينما: “على مدار إحدى عشرة نسخة، أثبت الملتقى مكانته كأحد أهم منصات تطوير المشاريع في المنطقة العربية، ليس من خلال حجم الدعم الذي يوفره وحده، بل من خلال نوعية الأفلام التي تتخرج منه.”
وقد شهدت الدورة الماضية (2025) مشاركة 16 مشروعًا من 11 دولة عربية، تنافست على 37 جائزة بقيمة إجمالية تُناهز 300 ألف دولار أمريكي، توزّعت بين منح نقدية وخدمات عينية مقدَّمة من شركات ومؤسسات إنتاج وتوزيع محلية ودولية.
*شروط التقديم:*
أن يكون المخرج من جنسية عربية أو من أصول عربية.
أن يكون المشروع فيلمًا طويلاً (روائيًا أو غير روائي) في مرحلة التطوير أو ما بعد الإنتاج.
أن يكون المخرج قد أنجز فيلمًا واحدًا على الأقل سابقًا، طويلاً أو قصيرًا.

تأسّس مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي عام 1976، ويقام سنويًا تحت رعاية وزارة الثقافة المصرية، وهو يُصنَّف ضمن مهرجانات الفئة A الدولية، ويحمل الاعتماد الرسمي من الاتحاد الدولي لجمعيات منتجي الأفلام (FIAPF)، بوصفه المهرجان الوحيد في العالم العربي وأفريقيا الحاصل على هذا الاعتماد المرموق.

*Cairo International Film Festival Opens Submissions for Twelfth Edition of Cairo Film Connection*
Cairo, May 2026 Cairo International Film Festival announces the opening of submissions for the twelfth edition of Cairo Film Connection, held as part of its forty-seventh edition scheduled from November 11 to 20, 2026.
Applications will be accepted starting today, May 10, 2026, until August 3, 2026, Cairo time, through the official festival website: www.ciff.org.eg.
Cairo Film Connection represents a specialized professional platform supporting feature-length fiction and non-fiction film projects from the Arab world in both development and post-production stages. The Connection seeks to empower Arab filmmakers by providing financial grants and comprehensive production services, alongside genuine networking opportunities with major international financiers, producers, and distributors.
The Connection provides Arab filmmakers with a collaborative cinematic environment emerging from the oldest and most vibrant film industry in the Arab world, opening professional pathways for them to interact with prominent cinema institutions and representatives worldwide.
In its twelfth edition, the Connection focuses on two core tracks: building the capacities of filmmakers and cinematic projects, and bridging connections with global markets through sustainable strategic partnerships.
In a special statement on this occasion, renowned artist Hussein Fahmy, President of Cairo International Film Festival, said: “Cairo Film Connection is a mission we believe in and renew our commitment to every year, preceding its role as a project support program, to ensure Cairo remains an essential destination for every Arab filmmaker with a dream worth seeing. Numerous projects supported by the Connection have achieved a remarkable presence on the international cinematic scene, prominently including:
Four Daughters — Kaouther Ben Hania (Tunisia)
Inshallah a Boy — Amjad Al Rasheed (Jordan)
Goodbye Julia — Mohamed Kordofani (Sudan)
Life After Siham — Namir Abdel Messeeh (Egypt)
In this context, Mohamed Sayed Abdel Rahim, Director of Cairo Industry Days, affirmed: “Over eleven editions, the Connection has proven its position as one of the most important project development platforms in the Arab region, demonstrating this through the volume of support it provides alongside the exceptional quality of the films graduating from it.”
The previous edition (2025) witnessed the participation of 16 projects from 11 Arab countries, competing for 37 awards with a total value nearing 300,000 US dollars, distributed between cash grants and in-kind services provided by local and international production and distribution companies and institutions.
Submission Requirements:
The director must be of Arab nationality or Arab descent.
The project must be a feature-length film (fiction or non-fiction) in the development or post-production stage.
The director must have previously completed at least one film, whether feature-length or short.
