مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي يدعو النقاد لاكتشاف عوالم “سينما النوع”
يدعو مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي كافة الكتّاب، والنقّاد، والباحثين السينمائيين لتقديم مقالات وقراءات نقدية تتناول “أفلام الأنواع” (Genre Films) بمختلف تصنيفاتاتها، بدءًا من الرعب والإثارة، وصولًا إلى الخيال العلمي، والأكشن، والنوار، والفانتازيا.
تسعى هذه المبادرة إلى إثراء الحوار النقدي حول هذه السينما، وتقديم قراءات جديدة تتجاوز النظرة التقليدية، لتسلط الضوء على القيمة الفنية والفكرية العميقة التي تحملها هذه الأعمال. وتتوج هذه المبادرة بنشر المقالات المختارة في كتاب مطبوع يصدره المهرجان عن سينما النوع، بالتزامن مع إقامة ندوة خاصة لمناقشة هذه الطروحات النقدية.
“نزهة ليلية”.. حوار مفتوح بين الكلاسيكية والمعاصرة
تنطلق هذه الدعوة من إيمان المهرجان بأن لغة الفيلم تتسع لتشمل عائلة كبيرة من اللهجات المتنوعة، وتمتلك كل لهجة منها قواعدها، ومنطقها العاطفي، وعقدها الخاص مع المتفرج؛ وهو عقد يمثل بنى دلالية بالغة التعقيد والأهمية.
وتجسيدًا لهذه الرؤية، يقدم برنامج “منتصف الليل” في المهرجان قسمًا خاصًا يحمل اسم “نزهة ليلية”، مؤسسًا على فرضية تؤكد استحقاق أفلام النوع للمشاهدة الجادة والتأمل النقدي، وتساوي المتع التي تقدمها من توتر ورهبة ودهشة مع تلك التي تمنحها الأعمال السينمائية ذات الإيقاع الهادئ، فضلًا عن قدرة أفضل أفلام النوع على تقديم إضاءة فكرية موازية لجاذبيتها الترفيهية.
وتعتمد كل ليلة من ليالي البرنامج على عرضين متتاليين، يجمعان فيلمًا معاصرًا في حوار فني مع فيلم كلاسيكي من تاريخ النوع ذاته. ويهدف هذا الاقتران إلى خلق محادثة حقيقية تتبع مسار تطور اللغة السينمائية ومفرداتها البصرية عبر الزمن والجغرافيا. وتؤكد صيغة العرضين المتتاليين أن اصطلاحات النوع تمثل معجمًا مشتركًا ومرنًا طوّره الجمهور وصنّاع الأفلام معًا على مدى عقود.

موضوعات الكتابة
يرحب المهرجان بتلقي المقترحات النقدية في عدة مسارات، من بينها على سبيل المثال:
• قراءات نقدية لأفلام أو مخرجين ضمن أنواع سينمائية محددة.
• تتبّع تطور نوع سينمائي معين عبر فترات زمنية أو جغرافية مختلفة (السينما المصرية، العربية، أو العالمية).
• استكشاف العلاقة بين أفلام الأنواع والسياق الاجتماعي والسياسي المنتج لها.
• دراسات مقارنة لمعالجات مختلفة لنوع سينمائي واحد.
• إعادة تقييم أعمال أو صناع أفلام تعرضوا للإهمال النقدي.
• حضور أفلام الأنواع في دورات مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي السابقة أو الحالية.
ضوابط وشروط المشاركة
• حجم المقال: يتراوح بين الحد الأدنى والأقصى المتمثل في 2000 كلمة.
• لغة الكتابة: العربية.
• المواعيد: يُغلق باب التقديم في 15 سبتمبر 2026، ويكون الموعد النهائي لتسليم المقالات المكتملة في 1 أكتوبر 2026.
• يشترط تقديم مادة أصلية وحصرية لم يسبق نشرها من قبل، مع الالتزام التام بأصول الكتابة النقدية والتوثيق الدقيق للمعلومات.
آلية التقديم
يُرجى إرسال طلبات المشاركة متضمنة العناصر التالية:
1. نبذة مختصرة عن الكاتب بحد أقصى 150 كلمة، مرفقًا بها نماذج سابقة من أعماله المكتوبة.
2. ملخص وافٍ للمقال المقترح في حدود 250 كلمة، يوضح الفكرة الرئيسية والزاوية النقدية.
3. بيانات التواصل التفصيلية (الاسم الكامل، البريد الإلكتروني، ورقم الهاتف).
وتخضع المقترحات المقدمة للتقييم وفق معايير تشمل عمق الطرح النقدي، وأصالة الفكرة، ومدى انسجامها مع أهداف المهرجان، إضافة إلى جودة الأسلوب الكتابي.

Cairo International Film Festival invites all writers, critics, and film researchers to submit articles and critical readings addressing “Genre Films” across their various classifications, from horror and thrillers to sci-fi, action, noir, and fantasy.
This initiative seeks to enrich the critical dialogue around this cinema and present fresh readings that surpass traditional views, highlighting the deep artistic and intellectual value these works carry. This initiative culminates in publishing the selected essays in a printed book issued by the festival on genre cinema, concurrent with a special symposium to discuss these critical propositions.
“Night Promenade”: An Open Dialogue Between Classic and Contemporary
This call stems from the festival’s belief that film language expands to encompass a large family of diverse dialects. Each dialect has its own rules, emotional logic, and special contract with the spectator—a contract representing highly complex and significant semantic structures.
Embodying this vision, the “Midnight” program at the festival introduces a special section titled “Night Promenade.” It is founded on the premise that genre films deserve serious viewing and critical reflection. The pleasures of tension, dread, and astonishment they provide equal those offered by slow-paced cinematic works. The best genre films also offer intellectual illumination parallel to their entertainment appeal.
Every night of the program features two consecutive screenings, pairing a contemporary film in artistic dialogue with a classic film from the history of the same genre. This pairing aims to create a genuine conversation tracking the evolution of cinematic language and visual vocabulary across time and geography. The back-to-back screening format confirms that genre conventions constitute a shared, flexible lexicon developed jointly by audiences and filmmakers over decades.
The essays targeted in this call serve as the parallel critical companion to the screening program, forming a written body that approaches genre cinema with rigor and curiosity, granting it the deep attention it deserves.
Writing Topics
The festival welcomes critical proposals in several tracks, including, for example:
• Critical readings of films or directors within specific cinematic genres.
• Tracking the evolution of a specific cinematic genre across different time periods or geographies (Egyptian, Arab, or World Cinema).
• Exploring the relationship between genre films and their producing social and political contexts.
• Comparative studies of different treatments of a single cinematic genre.
• Re-evaluating critically neglected films or filmmakers.
• The presence of genre films in previous or current editions of Cairo International Film Festival.
