Within the framework of the General Command of the Armed Forces’ keenness to hold periodic meetings with personnel to follow up on the combat training system and unify concepts regarding a number of topics related to the mechanisms governing the work of the Armed Forces at all levels, Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defence and Military Production, met with a number of personnel from the Second and Third Field Armies at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Defence, in the presence of a number of Armed Forces commanders.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defence and Military Production, conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the personnel. He noted that developing the combat and technical capabilities of units and formations across all branches and specializations remains among the foremost priorities of the General Command of the Armed Forces during the current phase.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces urged the personnel to maintain high morale, pursue rigorous training, and develop a proper understanding of the requirements of the current phase, so that the Armed Forces remain at the highest levels of combat readiness. He also joined the personnel for breakfast.
